Senior Manager, CNC Merch & Kits
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, CNC Merch & Kits to lead the development and execution of high-impact merchandise and custom kit programs for top-tier clients. This role blends project management, client services, and vendor oversight to deliver innovative, brand-aligned merchandise experiences—from concept through fulfillment. The ideal candidate is both a big-picture thinker and a detail-obsessed executor, with a proven ability to lead complex initiatives and build trusted client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Account Management
Serve as the strategic lead and primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service and delivery at every touchpoint.
Build long-term relationships by understanding client goals and proactively recommending merchandising solutions that drive engagement and meet business objectives.
Present creative concepts, timelines, and budgets with confidence and clarity, managing feedback and approvals throughout the lifecycle.
Project & Program Management
Own the end-to-end execution of merch and kit projects, from initial brief through delivery and post-program reporting.
Lead internal cross-functional teams and external partners to keep projects on track, on budget, and aligned with brand standards.
Develop and manage detailed project timelines, production schedules, and workback plans to ensure seamless coordination.
Vendor & Production Oversight
Source, vet, and manage vendors and production partners across apparel, print, packaging, and logistics.
Negotiate pricing, timelines, and service agreements while ensuring quality control and risk mitigation.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support scalability and innovation.
Strategic Planning & Budgeting
Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting for merchandise programs.
Track spend against project and departmental budgets, identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
Provide insights and recommendations to evolve merchandising offerings, pricing structures, and operational processes.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in merchandising, experiential production, or project/account management—preferably in an agency or brand environment.
Deep experience managing physical product kits, branded merchandise, packaging, and fulfillment.
Proven ability to lead client relationships, manage vendors, and oversee multiple high-volume projects simultaneously.
Strong commercial acumen with experience owning budgets and negotiating vendor contracts.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
