Senior Manager, CNC Merch & Kits

We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, CNC Merch & Kits to lead the development and execution of high-impact merchandise and custom kit programs for top-tier clients. This role blends project management, client services, and vendor oversight to deliver innovative, brand-aligned merchandise experiences—from concept through fulfillment. The ideal candidate is both a big-picture thinker and a detail-obsessed executor, with a proven ability to lead complex initiatives and build trusted client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Account Management

  • Serve as the strategic lead and primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service and delivery at every touchpoint.

  • Build long-term relationships by understanding client goals and proactively recommending merchandising solutions that drive engagement and meet business objectives.

  • Present creative concepts, timelines, and budgets with confidence and clarity, managing feedback and approvals throughout the lifecycle.

Project & Program Management

  • Own the end-to-end execution of merch and kit projects, from initial brief through delivery and post-program reporting.

  • Lead internal cross-functional teams and external partners to keep projects on track, on budget, and aligned with brand standards.

  • Develop and manage detailed project timelines, production schedules, and workback plans to ensure seamless coordination.

Vendor & Production Oversight

  • Source, vet, and manage vendors and production partners across apparel, print, packaging, and logistics.

  • Negotiate pricing, timelines, and service agreements while ensuring quality control and risk mitigation.

  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support scalability and innovation.

Strategic Planning & Budgeting

  • Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting for merchandise programs.

  • Track spend against project and departmental budgets, identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies without compromising quality.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to evolve merchandising offerings, pricing structures, and operational processes.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in merchandising, experiential production, or project/account management—preferably in an agency or brand environment.

  • Deep experience managing physical product kits, branded merchandise, packaging, and fulfillment.

  • Proven ability to lead client relationships, manage vendors, and oversee multiple high-volume projects simultaneously.

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience owning budgets and negotiating vendor contracts.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
