Location: Hybrid / LA-based preferred
Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Director of Production
About the Role:
We’re growing fast — and with more fabrication-heavy builds, we need someone who can bridge creative and execution flawlessly. As Fabrication Manager, you'll own the translation of ideas into reality, protecting CNC from costly mistakes, timeline slips, and vendor misfires.
What You'll Own:
- Technical oversight of all builds: from scope to install
- Review of renderings, tech drawings, and vendor quotes to flag red flags early
- Vendor briefing: ensure they get the right specs, drawings, and expectations every time
- Sample/prototype management: request, review, and approve all finish samples and key elements
- Lead fabrication timelines and manage production schedules for all builds
- Be onsite for installs (or manage trusted field leads) to guarantee execution matches creative
- Collaborate tightly with Creative, Production, and Ops to ensure feasibility, quality, and margin protection
What Sucess Looks Like:
- No surprises at install — builds match creative, vendors are aligned, clients are happy
- Timelines run tight, with realistic buffers built in
- Fewer rush orders, remakes, or last-minute approvals
- CNC saves time, stress, and money through smart execution
You are:
- A detail-obsessed problem solver who thrives in the build process
- Comfortable interpreting creative and architectural drawings
- Experienced working with vendors across materials (wood, vinyl, metal, soft goods, etc.)
- Fluent in fabrication timelines, production methods, and install logistics
- Cool under pressure with a bias for action and follow-through
